Selfie Cake Mirror Board Care and Usage

• How do I use the Selfie Cake Mirror Board?
  We recommend adding a piece of baking paper underneath the mirror to protect the coating on the back of the acrylic. Position the mirror on top of the cake and pipe swirls and swashes around it to cover the edge.
• Is the mirror edible?
  We create some pretty cool things, but unfortunately making edible acrylic isn’t one of them.
• How to do I remove the board?
  We recommend removing the mirror prior to serving the cake. Simply (and gently) slide a flat utensil underneath the board and lift up. Using a piece of baking paper to seperate the mirror board from the top of the cake will make this easier. Need a visual? Check out this handy little clip from Eat with Bella
• How do I clean my Selfie Cake Mirror Board?
  After carefully removing the board from the cake we recommend washing with a soft cloth and dishwashing liquid. Acrylic is not suitable for the dishwasher.
• Anything else I should know?
  Your board will come with a protective paper (or plastic) coating on one side which will need to be removed before use. It’s also a good idea to give it a quick hand wash before its first use too. Acrylic is sturdy but can scratch so take it easy on the boards. The backing of the mirror can also be easily scratched which will be visible on the other side. With some care, you can use these over and over.
